Shooting a TVR of
The Houtkamp Collection

Watch the horizon! Keep him in the centre of the viewfinder, for if there are
houses or just poles or trees in the background they'll fall sideways.
Every shot six paces from the car as the best distance.

Lower the camera.

Then the TVR becomes a mighty automobile.

And even mightier. But this low does not give an impression
of the totality of the form.

If you liked the background in the former photos it may be
quite disappointing from the rear.

Always keep the same distances except when making close-ups.

Always keep an eye on the reflections. Sunset in the fender.

Or a tree in the hood.

Try various angles to get the best shot.

Background always gets overexposure when the interior
is asking for adequate light.

Clean the engine when a photo's taken.

Although this Rover has nice enough doors but reflections
have an unappealing distorting effect.

In the garage other cars are very distracting. This shot was taken too low indeed.
