And then I'd wait a long time before buying these wheels.

I'd still buy this old model first, if it had to be a 300.

After his last beer.

After the party.

What is the basic color, you might ask.

This Smart's owned by a recognized very undecisive smart aleck.

Guy's last photo arrived from Paris, by the underground.

Thomas Tukker, on his way from Milan to N.Y., sailed the canals to shoot
some of the festivity.

Lens Guy made a little tour in orange Amsterdam, to see and photograph
the grand party on the occasion of the Queen's birthday.

From bud to bloom in the Diepenbrockstraat.

Meanwhile buds are growing bigger next to the house.

It'll be a great day for the little chap.

It's just after 11:30 that the party will start swinging.

That early they already bought fantastic things on the free market.

Saturday April 29, the Queen's Birthday, 8:30, still pretty quiet.

From our quiet man in Providence. The silver Zagato Ferrari is the first picture
I've seen of that car that makes it look like a Ferrari one would want to own.
Other pictures make it look kind of controrted for no good reason.
And, as a tribute to Ferrari's great tradition, it looks more 1954 than 2006, if you ask me
(which you didn't). Here, from the UltimateCarPage is a
Zagato Maserati A6G 2000 Zagato Coupe 2121
from around 1954, only 50 or so years old... not a bad photograph either.
All it takes is a clean, polished up car and a decent background, right?
Have a nice Queen's Birthday. Lewis

What happened on this slow and narrow service road?
Did the driver drink too much in the cafe?
You also may click on photo, for a larger photograph of this one.
In the news it became known that the woman who resisted entry in
the police car was drunk and doubled as the driver, and didn't have
a driving licence. Her male passenger got trapped and was cut out
of the wreck and was removed via the tail door.

New in Gizmag Magazine, about classic Ferrari Zagato's.
Yoshiyuki Hayashi is a famous Japanese car collector, who owns numerous cars
of great historical value, including several Ferraris such as the 166MM,
the 250 Spider California, two Daytonas - a coupé and a spider - and the Enzo.
In the classic tradition of the wealthy exclusive car enthuisiasts who stimulated
the creativeness of Italian coachbuilders in the 1950s and 1960s, Hayashi asked Zagato
if it would be possible to create a body for his 575M, in the style of the famous
250GTZ berlinetta. When Zagato received this request, it informed Ferrari of the project,
which would be a good opportunity to celebrate the model's anniversary, and then
created a car that harked back to the 250 GTZ, built around the Ferrari 575.
Like its forebear, the 575 GTZ has an all-aluminium body, and, as a tribute to Ferrari and
to two-seater Italian sports cars, it has joined an exclusive group of custom-built cars.

It's gonna be nice, no doubt!

Green for pedestrians.

Friday morning. Buds are on the verge of exploding.

Lewis Dana, Providence U.S.A. April 27, 2006.
An overpass crossing Interstate 95 through the middle of Providence is
on my (long) walk to the main Post Office. A day or so ago someone
had graced the protective fence with a message to motorists
hurtling underneath. Plastic drink cups.

Here's the back side of what the motorists see as they fly by.

My Spanish is lacking, or I'd know what this says. I regret to say that today,
as I sauntered over another overpass in the warm, sunny spring afternoon,
I heard a throbbing, throaty exhaust bellow in the distance. As I watched, forgetting totally
about the camera in my pocket, a handsome Cobra thundered under me, top down.
Would have been a nifty picture with a telephoto lens and a faster cameraman.

"Our yacht is moored at an odd landing which you only can reach via the bicycles."

"Mother here, we are following the suspect's car
in the direction of the Royal Palace."

The background in the background serves as a background for tall stories.

"She arrived."

Thursday. Midsummer high season.

Upon seeing yesterday's Citroën SM monsieur M. Carpedi sent this card from Maranello.
Merci! See his collection!

The near future is green, on the Stadionkade.

In the evening Guy is making up for lost reading time.
(Autopassion)

Even at 15:00 already queues of more than 10 km inbound traffic.

"Hi! Over here! Here I am!" (Guy)

Too late to enjoy the day. Trop tard.

Wednesday: Guy went to Paris, to shoot the Spring in couleur locale.

My Promised Land

In the Spring of 2002 Roger Sparks was traveling
with a virgin agenda when he landed
in America on the off chance, so it seemed at first.
But he had a plan, to meet Dr. Robert Ballard,
the discoverer of the Titanic.
