![]() A magnificent pair of Seagrave aerial ladder trucks at a gathering of antique fire engines in East Greenwich, RI, last Sunday. For fans of gleaming chrome, polished brass and hues of glowing red paint, it doesn't get much better. And, since the main line on the Northeast railway corridor was just behind the fence, America's fastest trains kept flashing past while we looked at the fire engines. (Lewis) |
