Extreme Electric Motocross Bike.
The recreational vehicle industry and
specifically trail bikes look to be set for
a whole new range of possibilities in the near
future as electric motorcycles become viable.
Electric dirt bikes offer several compelling
advantages over their current petrol-burning
brethren, the most significant being they are
completely silent. Proof of just how far electric
dirt bikes have come is the US$5,500 Drift XC
bike from Electricross.

The chain ran off and the man put
his bike against the car to bring his bike
back into running order.

Instead of a postcard I send you photos
that I made myself during a formidable
auto-brocante in Negrepelisse near Montauban,
France. The parade displayed an elegance of
a Concours d'Elegance as we've seen in Het Loo
and comparable events. Pastis and saucisse.
Lovely people. No nonsense and baloney.
In that atmosphere they rolled the Bugatti
out of the barn, the Alfa Romeo, the Dyna Panhard
Junior, all magnificent voitures from yesteryear,
taken care of with love, and driven with delight.
You should come and see yourself next year.
Salutations amicales, Max Carpedi
