Week 42, 2006 commencing on October 16.2nd part.

In the weekend we'll go looking for the Fall in Holland.
More great Canadian photos at Digital Apoptosis.

We walked on them in Venice,

Last rays of late Summer in Nice.
Max max! You're flashing from place to place
and from time to time and again!

So elegant and smart! Click for wonderful butt!

Oil rigs in the Vijzelstraat.
Click for more busyness.

Viewing and commenting on photographs
by Trent Parke in the FOAM.
Click for the inimitable flower dress.

Friday morning they started on tearing down
the corridor between the museum and the old new wing.

A new form of mobility: T3 Motion.
Kinda three wheeled Segway.
Click for the story.

Commuters were ready for it.
About the photographer Travis Ruse.

Behind shutters shops were waiting for the biz.
About Joseph Holmes, in Dutch.

Twelve hours earlier the subway
headed for Manhattan.
About Travis Ruse who shot the photo, in Dutch.

Work on the demolition is almost finished.

Early Thursday morning on the Museumplein.
Weather is mild, but rain is expected.

Ford Galaxie, Max Carpedi brought up
remembrances of a man who was bald headed
I think and who who cruised up and down
the Vijzelstraat in a white and red Galaxie
to see whether he could pick up one of the hookers
who cruised the sidewalks.

From here one has a good view on
the peculiarly stylish rear window. (Guy)

Difficult to freeze, this mighty power boat
at the Genoa Boat Show. The pin-ups of the boat-world
are often from Riva and Wally, but unfortunately
the spectacular Wally Power 118 was conspicuous
in its absence at the Genoa show, leaving a stealth-bomber
shaped void in the show listings. There were other
noteworthy craft, however, not least 'Blue Princess',
a 34m super yacht that won Boat of the Year last year,
as voted for by German magazine 'Boot' and
Boat International. Floating within the newly extended
marina, 'Blue Princess', designed by Francesco Paszkowsky
and built by Baglietto, has a stunning profile
with a conservative theme superbly executed.

New brooms. (Guy)

She takes it easy. (Guy)

City bird. (Guy)

A kinda trickier subject. (Guy)

Promising prose probably. (Guy)

Quicker than a telegram nowadays. (Guy)

A unique fine looking new Sachs bike! (Guy)

Wednesday, a dreary day, we dreamed of the past.
And this postcard came with the mail, for my father I guess,
from Max Senior! Looking at the cars it must have been
undeliverable for ages, found it in our letterbox.
