Here we have the beginnings of rush hour
under the downtown shopping mall with
an Interstate highway in the background,
a town street down below and a long stairway
for pedestrians descending to the river across
which the shopping mall was built.
Lewis, Providence RI

"There he is."

No way.

Buy one, before it's cold! (Guy)

Max Carpedi from Montélimar, whishing us a pleasant week-end.

Friday 10th. Mammoet was here to do, what else,
a moving job on an enormous scale. And they pulled it off
without a hitch. Actually they made an enormous hitch
to hook two barges together, load this bridge on it
with some special moving devices, hooked some tugs up
and hauled the whole thing up the Narragansett Bay
and dropped it right in place on the Providence waterfront.
Much fun. Lewis from Rhode Island
