![]() The Caparo T1 is a two-seater that delivers 1,000bhp-per-tonne, which is twice the power to weight ratio of a Bugatti Veyron. The high power to weight ratio has been achieved by applying the principles of lightweight vehicle design resulting in a compact 2.4 litre V8 engine delivering a high specific output of 480bh to a hybrid aluminium, steel and carbon composite car whose entire vehicle mass is no more than 465kg. It means the T1 shares the same power output of a typical American muscle car, but has only a quarter of the weight and much better performance on the track. ![]() The Cadillac DeVille Bart van Dijk spotted in his neighborhood. Hey! Thanks for giving me temporary immortality on your phlog! It's feels kinds good to be credited. A small note... The red De Ville convertible, in your log for Week 3, 2007, is from 1966. How does anybody drive one of those things in Holland? There's no room on the road for something that long and wide! And with a 7.0 litre engine you can pass almost anything except a gas station. I wouldn't mind driving one if I had someone else's money. Careful on those curves though; masrshmallow suspension, loose overboosted steering, almost too much power under your right foot, and people might think you're drifting at the traffic circles. Kenneth of Winnipeg. P.S. Thanks for reading this. The Internet still amazes me with being able to communicate with people so easily, so quickly, though so far away. |
