Week 17, 2007 commencing on April 23rd. First part.

Proudly she showed her friend's bike. (Guy)

"Great when it's as warm as today." (Guy)

"They're in a growth phase." (Guy)

"ABN-AMRO-Barclays, merged milch cows." (Guy)

"We think white is nicer." (Guy)

A few minutes from AMS. (Guy)

Wednesday afternoon Guy made a trip
into The Glorious Spring Country.

Patterns.

"I absolutely like this better."

"The Kid's Museum is in the Jewish Historical Museum."

"Well, one's got to be careful."

"I'd like a pedestal like this in my house."

"A fine day to go to Limburg!"

"That's not quite fashionable these days."

Wednesday. Stupid start of the day.

"See you tonight?" (Guy)

"A bit too frivolous I'm afraid." (Guy)

"Or is it too silly?" (Guy)

"In that case I'll excuse me and turn around." (Guy)

Tuesday morning. Willemsparkweg.
The cushion effect was caused
by standing too close to this magnificent
Harley 773. Couldn't stand farther away
and not being hit by traffic.

"When the guy on the left fired up that red bike,
it was the loudest sound I have ever heard -
well, maybe not quite as loud as a Formula 1 car.
Everybody on the street stood jaws agape as
the beast roared off down the street." (Lewis)

"The Mustang sat at the stop light with its rear wheels
spinning until the light changed. So did the '93 Lincoln
Continental behind him. A lot of noise.
A lot of smoke. And a stop sign one block up the hill.
About 100 meters of driving... and 6 months of tire wear."
(Lewis)

"When I'm grown up the bike has to be adepted." (Guy)

"It's safer on the sidewalk." (Guy)

"My friend doesn't know I took his bike." (Guy)

"I don't use it often any more." (Guy)

Last errands in the afternoon.

Baambrugge, Monday afternoon.

Under guard of the flank defence of the zebra.

"All those discounts!"

"Look at those cops!"

"I'd fancy the green one."

"Whoever said money can't buy happiness
simply didn't know where to go shopping." (Bo)

"Simply can't stop it sliding from my shoulders."

Monday. Booze for the rest of the week.
