Week 8, 2006 commencing on February 20.

Regularly we dream about a new bike. And here he is. Click!

After a sunny Sunday the sky darkened above the ING HQ.

Last rays of the sun before dark clouds drifted in. Chrysler 300 Touring.

Almost made it home.

Almost too cold without a fur coat.

Almost too fast and too slow on a Sunday.

Sunday: a lively pause in a vivacious conversation at the Bagels & Beans.

It was dark when we found the Cafe of the Future (click!) in Noord-Scharwoude,
where we had dinner in a petit restaurant that was time shifted to just after the big war.
The owner of the cafe told us stories from those years in the local West Friesian dialect
and after dinner showed us the adjacent little shops that were equipped with products
for the daily life of that postwar period, the later forties and early fifities.

As if it's a special task force, but just an ordinary taxi in Rotterdam. (Guy)

Parked in an awkward way, no clue what stopped the MGB in its tracks. (Guy)

Cold doesn't keep them from seeking cool adventures. (Guy)

Downtown bound in Rotterdam. (Guy)

Saturday. Outside it's sunny alright, but fiercely cold.

"You waved, that's how!"

Strolling through the archives I felt like pasting this summer snap.
August 4 2005, 15:03 h.

Later in the afternoon the poppies mirror themselves as a forecast.

And I am not thinking beyond the end of my trip today.

The kids are thinking of their next action.

And Guillaume says he's thinking of the forthcoming holidays.

The next day, even more disposed waste. But now it's sunny.

Then there's this new part of Amsterdam called Zeeburg where the streets
are named after renowned Dutch photographers, and totally black and white.

Guy also shot this Puma! Digital caliber yes.

Since I had been driving around pratically all day Guillaume
took some photos I never could have taken, like this Vespa.

Same posh neighborhood.

Driving round the Ronde Hoep Guy was passed by this Aston.
On his way back he spotted him again, on the side of the assumedly too narrow road.

Sunny suddenly, left and right.

Driving up North we were passed by this Volvo Amazon.
Although more than forty years old still going strong.

It's dark and cold. We won't take the bike, will we Guy?

A quick dash to Almere, life can be thrilling.

Latest Lambo Murcielago.
Fierce dream.

The Tolstraat, is it?

Fur your eyes only, Guillaume!

Haarlem, dark outside, the sun's shining inside. For your eyes only.

TVR in front of the MG Specialist in Badhoevedorp.

Spring's in the air in a London train station. A daily dose of imagery.

"I've see this girl all over town Guy! I'ts good she's waemly dressed."

It's truly "incroyable", but the last Citroën Chapron
was auctioned at the Rétromobile for an astonishing 175.000 euros.

Our Lens Guy never seems to sleep, always lingering in the archives of his discoveries.
Shot alongside a terrace on the Route Napoleon.

This photograph also was taken in Paris, probably
not on the motor show, but there definitely is an intriguing connection.
She namely is Janine Voisin, daughter of, of the legendary Gabriël Voisin,
the aeroplane builder, later a visionary manufacturer of the most
advanced automobiles of its time. It is believed there never has been
a connection with Howard Hughes, also a renowned airplane builder and
connoisseur of striking women like Janine, and inventor of the bra!

While Citroën was promotionally present with the Citroën C6
on the "Bienvenue En France" Manifestation in the RAI, an immaculately restored
Rolls-Royce stood at the Rétromobile in Paris.

On Friday, winds gusting at 100 km/h caused quite a lot of damage around here,
including derailling a freight train over the St-Laurence river. Apoptosis.

"Don't know the license plate number, loaned it, it's a red one."

No cats, nor dogs, nor kids in the streets.

After the blizzard.

Waste! (Lens Guy)

Monday, no not sunny today, the Cougar was taken a few days ago, and even not
by myself but by Guy, the other lens guy, yeah, that's his name, Lens Guy.

My Promised Land
In the Spring of 2002 Roger Sparks was traveling
with a virgin agenda when he landed
in America on the off chance, so it seemed at first.
But he had a plan, to meet Dr. Robert Ballard,
the discoverer of the Titanic.
