It was a quiet, drizzly Sunday, so I went into nearby Massachusetts to the antique tractor pull. A couple dozen old farm and lawn tractors hooked up to various weighted sleds. A great place for a kid to try out machinery, an opportunity for souped up lawn tractors to flex their muscles against "The Denier" a sled with a progressive weight system: the farther you hauled it, the heavier it became. And for big boys (and one girl) to try out real tractors against a sled loaded with 3000 kilos of concrete. This big boy has his anti-backflip feet planted firmly on the ground.
