 Saturday July 26th. After the recent successful PR stunt with the FIAT Croma in the PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam, the Dutch importer for BAE Hagglunds announced that its new SEP 8×8 modular vehicle system will be shown to the public in the street that has become popular among the owners of all wheel drive shopping trucks, also known as "PC Tractors". Commencing at 10:00h. three vehicles of the type shown in the photo - and possibly one on tracks - will be available for demonstration to the public, and after a short course in driving theory a ride will be made possible into the Vondelpark, where would-be driver/prospects may take over the steering wheel. Arrangements have been made with the traffic police and Vrienden van het Vondelpark. |
