We went over to visit some friends who had rented a house in New Hampshire with views of the White Mountains. Last night at dinner on a terrace at a golf club we had the most spectacular sunset I have ever seen. A 270-degree view from Mount Washington all the way across the horizon. The road past the house in which we were staying had the classic stone wall and apple trees and all the other good things. The house itself was built by the brother of George Westinghouse, and while not up to George's rather grand style, it was awfully comfortable. Lewis
