After the introduction in 1995 we haven't seen much of the Ford GT90.
The then new “Edge” designed GT was to be even faster than a McLaren F1,

Abandoned House Becomes 'Before I Die' Wall of Dreams.
This wall asks a question. What's important to you? What do you want to do before you die? What's on your bucket list? In New Orleans, an abandoned house has been converted into a community art project, harnessing the power of crowds without the electricity of computer-based social networking. What would you write on the "Before I Die" wall? Before I die, I want to ... The project is essentially an old, graffiti-marked structure recycled into a big chalkboard. Some folks who've signed it are thinking of actions to help the planet. On second thought, maybe this does use the electricity of social networking, minus the electrons.
The "Before I Die" wall is a creation of Candy Chang, "a public installation artist, designer, urban planner, and co-founder of Civic Center who likes to make cities more comfortable for people." The house is in her neighborhood.
As Chang describes it, "Before I Die transforms neglected spaces into constructive ones where we can learn the hopes and aspirations of the people around us."
If you're in NOLA, you'll find this at the corner of Marigny and Burgundy streets. It may not last for long, which is a good thing. The home was recently purchased and will be renovated, Chang reports.

Now’s the time to live the dream. Oris and RUF: a match made in motor sport heaven – just like the Oris RUF CTR3 Chronograph. The lightweight, aerodynamic case reflects the design of the car and the dial design comes straight from the dashboard. With a top class sports chronograph and a tachymeter scale top ring, all RUF fans can now express their passion for fast cars on the wrist. Seen at QP.
See the number on the shirt cuff? That's not a social security number but a reflection of the serial number on the side of the case.

Third iteration of Nissan PIVO EV concept headed for Tokyo. Nissan is the latest auto manufacturer to declare its hand in the lead up to the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show with the announcement that a new version of the PIVO electric concept car will take center stage. The PIVO 3 will be joined at the Nissan stand by two other concept electric vehicles, a light commercial van prototype and smart house technology that allows a Nissan LEAF's batteries to supply a home with electricity. Hello Lewis, Thanks for your mail. As I was still interested to know more about the red Ferrari 356 GTC4 on Guy's photo I also 'Googled' today.
Then i discovered the following very detailed information about the Type 356 GTC4 on this website: http://www.365gtc4.com/Reference/
I trust you like it as well.
Best regards, Gijs

Mechanically, the 365 GTC/4 is closely related to the 365 GTB/4 "Daytona" but it presented its own innovations, including power assisted steering, a large trunk, and side draft carburetors which allow a lower hood line. As Road and Track said in its July 1972 review of the car: "In all, a graceful, clean and understated design with subtleties one discovers only by looking it over carefully. One might say this model is a Ferrari for the mature enthusiast." Or, Winston Goodfellow was quoted in the Forza 365 GTC/4 Buyer's Guide as saying: "The styling is so elegantly low-key that the model is often overlooked."

The Scarlet X camera from RED, at last. It would be hard to imagine a greater contrast between today's launch by Canon of its EOS C300 digital cinema camera and the launch of RED's long-awaited Scarlet. Canon's event was huge and long-winded with a string of cinematography heavyweights on stage. At the RED gathering half an hour later, an ad hoc bunch of the faithful turned up at RED studios, ostensibly just to watch the same web page update as the rest of the world. Alas it didn't quite work out like that. Due to what RED believes was a malicious attack, their servers (beefed up for the occasion) collapsed and red.com went dark. Head Honcho Jim Jannard had to come out and address the gathered 300 or so himself whilst the rest of the world gleaned tidbits over twitter. This sort of thing is part of the fun of RED that is both enjoyable and infuriating in equal measure. Let's not forget though that RED is, by far, the most successful manufacturer of digital cinema cameras with nearly 10,000 units in the wild and they are in use on the majority of Hollywood films in production.

NASA is evaluating "tractor beam" technologies. NASA is looking to turn another staple of science fiction to practical use by studying ways to make "tractor beams" a reality. While none of the technologies under the microscope will be able to transport anything the size of a modified YT-1300 Corellian freighter - at least in the short term - the researchers will examine if it is possible to trap and move planetary or atmospheric particles using laser light so they can be delivered to a robotic rover or orbiting spacecraft for analysis.

Ferarri gaat keihard voorbij aan de crisis.

07 November 2011 - 19:16:27 / Categorie: Economie / Bron: ANP.

A V-12 1972 Ferrari 365GTC4. Quite similar to a Daytona, but with power steering, says a site. The tires on Guy's photo look too small or somehow out of proportion. It makes the thing look like an Opel GT, yet also not quite right. Here's what one sounds like in first and second. Lewis

Honda's Intelligent Horse
- biomimicry gives us the All-Terrain-Vehicle of the 23rd Century. If the horse is not humanity's favorite animal, it should be, as it has served us far better than any other domesticated animal. It has been the predominant form of personal transport for the last millennia, has done more work for us than any animal, and its mastery became the fundamental military technology which helped Genghis Khan build the biggest empire in history. Indeed, Honda's choice of the horse as a metaphor for the type of vehicle we will be driving a hundred years hence is incredibly apt.
The horse fits perfectly with our perception of reliable, inventive and loyal companions, as modern media has given us many role models for the concept - from Black Beauty to Mister Ed, and dozens of iconic action equines such as the Lone Ranger's Silver, Hopalong Cassidy's Topper, The Rifleman's Razor and Roy Roger's Trigger.
