Wow! Who would have thought that Frans Klein was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA??!!
I never saw him walking around the streets, or painting landscapes
along the banks of the Susquehanna, or even mentioned in the local papers.
Of course, at the time, the town may have not perfectly understood
Abstract Expressionism. Thanks a little bit of local history! Lewis
