A Panhard-Levassor type X46 built in 1925. This particular car has many special parts, dynostart, sleeve valve engine, 4 huge wheel brakes, etc .The chassis has a total lenght of 4,65 meter and the wheelbase of the Panhard is 3,3 meter. When I bought the car it was not more then a rolling chassis a true Barnfind . There was no coachwork left so I did some research about the specials that were available around 1925. I find out that in 1925 the company speed record car was built on a similar chassis. So why not built a replica of this speed record car during the Restoration . |
